It's hard to write a review on a product that hasn't been used yet, but I am very happy I purchased this anti choking device.
I ordered one for each one of my children who have families and one for myself.
I know a lot of people who live alone and I wanted to have this life saving instrument in their homes. They were all so grateful! They like myself had gotten food caught in their throat and it was scary. So now we all feel a little safer and more prepared if that was to happen again. We wouldn’t have to be lucky. We would be prepared if it were to happen again.
Bought a bundle and shared with Grand kids. Hung mine with Velcro to allow instant access. Living alone I needed a device I could use on my self with ease
In testing this on myself, it didn't seem to fit the face enough to be effective. I ordered an extra practice mask. I do not trust anything to help me while choking that I haven't tested.

Wonderful device, easy to store or hang up in kitchen area, great for single people
I recently purchased I'm a 50-year-old male and upon trying it I'm here by myself a lot I just never did get a good seal and I don't have an unusually large face that I'm aware of

For most adults, the adult mask included in the kit should provide the best fit. When practicing, we recommend placing the mask fully over both the nose and mouth and pressing firmly to create a complete seal before pulling the handle in one quick motion. Maintaining pressure around the edges of the mask can help improve the seal.
Many users find that it takes a few practice attempts to become familiar with the positioning and technique. Practicing in front of a mirror can also help ensure the mask is centered correctly.

After checking out the order that I received, my husband and I decided that the product was not right for us. So, I contacted the support group and asked for an address to return the product. Rather than giving that information to me, I was asked to answer a bunch of questions and to send them pictures. One of the reasons I purchased the product without any concern whatsoever was because of the large display of No Questions Asked 90-Day Return on theirwebsite. That is not what happened!

I have not had to use mine yet. Recently as I was taking my morning pills, a large capsule went down the wrong tube and I started coughing violently. It did come up after a few moments of coughing. I immediately thought of my SaveLix and fortunately didn't need it, but was sure comforting to know it was there!
I have not actually used it to save my life yet but just testing it I realized it has a strong suction.
I bought 6 of them. 1 for my home, my mother's hone, my truck, my wife's car, my grandsons car and one for my daughter's home. Better to be safe.
PRIMARY REASON FOR PURCHASE: 1=Worried about my first grandchild being too curious, 2- First aid accessory for my boxing gym 3-wanted a unit readily available in my vehicle , and 4 - my own personal availability in my apartment. Myself an inventor like the innovative function of this device.
I purchased 4 and they do NOT have a HOLDER & VENT VALVE. Please advise.

To clarify, there is no separate hole, opening, or missing component on the device. The label refers to the function of the red base section, which works as part of the device's internal airflow and suction mechanism.
The device is designed to create suction through its push-and-pull operation, and the airflow management occurs internally rather than through a visible external vent.

Fortunately not having the need to use it I cannot give an in-depth review. However it seems to be built well. I like the case that keeps everything in one place and that you have what is needed for both adults and children.
